Welcome to Stupid Questions. As per the Frequently Asked Questions Law, there are no smart questions, just stupid ones.
SQ: Do you do commissions?
SA: I should.
SQ: Why is the site so bland looking?
SA: The site was originally designed with FrontPage 2003, which supports themes. This site is hosted by Comcast, and something about their servers does not accept themes, hence the white background. This site is supposed to look pretty.
SQ: Comcast gave you space to store your videos?
SA: No. Comcast only gives their subscribers 25MB of personal web page space. (On the opposite hand, I get 250MB of webmail space.) In light of this, I now host the site on Comcast servers, and embed the videos into pages using YouTube.
SQ: What's your YouTube account?
SA: TermiteStudios.
SQ: What would you do for a Klondike Bar?
SA: Pay $1.50.
SQ: Read any good books lately?
SA: Books?
SQ: Seriously, any?
SA: Books?
SQ: You are such a lost cause.
SA: Yep.
SQ: What do you use to make your videos?
SA: Live video is captured using a Canon Elura 100 MiniDV digital camcorder. The raw video is transfered to a 160GB SATA hard drive using a Firewire connection, and managed by Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0. From there, and in the same program, I cut, clip, and edit my way to a presentable video.
SQ: What about the cartoon ones?
SA: I just substitute the source files. Instead of using the video from the camera, I simply import the cartoon show into the editing program.
SQ: Do you have more storage space for your website now?
SA: Yes. That's the reason I was able to start an art gallery. Instead of a measly 25 MB, I now have a whopping 5GB. To those who don't know, that's 5,000MB, 200X what I had before.
SQ: If you have that much space, why do you still use YouTube?
SA: I don't yet have a way to embed my videos on the web page in a way that all the major web browsers can display. YouTube has done the work for me.
SQ: You never update! What gives?!SA: I got school and work! What do you want from me?
SQ: Are you a poet?SA: Nope.
SQ: How many ducks does it take to screw in a lightbulb?SA: You silly goose! Ducks don't use lightbulbs!
