Here's my first film school project.  I think it's funny.  At least, I'm supposed to, since I was in charge of it.  But that still counts, right? ......Right?

All filming was done and completed in approximately two hours on Thursday, March 8, 2007. It was a very uncomplicated shoot, with one scene and one location, room 1125 at the Art Institute of Washington.

The equipment was pretty standard. The camera was a Panasonic DVX-100, and the lighting equipment consisted of a Pepper light kit. A field monitor was used to collaborate with classmates to ensure proper framing. A single shotgun microphone and boom pole were used, and was not moved at all throughout the shooting to ensure consistent audio pickup.

No special costumes or props were used, just a two-pack of Hostess cupcakes as a prop, and a book for Phil to read while waiting for Bob’s entrance.

Raw video was imported into Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 using a Cannon Elura 100 MiniDV camcorder and firewire cable. The music played at the end, "Staff Battle" (a remix by Selecta Novel of a piece of music from Super Mario Bros. 3, originally composed by Koji Kondo), was downloaded from OverClocked Remixes (www.ocremix.org). The sound effect at the beginning was downloaded from SoundDogs.com (www.sounddogs.com).
